How it works
- Demand adds up what pulls visitors to your area each night: weekends, concerts (stadium and arena shows count far more than bar gigs), festivals, carnivals, conventions, pro and college home games in your town, and public holidays with their long weekends. Each night is compared with a typical night in your own area, so a busy city and a quiet beach town are each measured against themselves.
- Your calendar (iCal) marks nights already booked or blocked. Open nights on high-demand dates are the ones to look at first.
- Suggested rates are rule-of-thumb uplifts on your normal rate: 1.2–1.5× on high-demand nights, 1.5–2.5× at peak. Every market is different; use them as a prompt to check what similar places nearby are charging.
- Coverage: events about five weeks ahead (updated daily), holidays further out. Events come from Veabird's events data set (ticketing sites, ESPN, festivals, Wikidata).
