VeabirdAI assistants

Plan trips with Veabird in your AI assistant

Connect Veabird to ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant and it can answer with our live forecasts instead of guessing. It matches ski resorts to your ability, pass and home airport. It also checks snow, sargassum and crowds for your dates, finds places to stay with live nightly prices, and sets up flight searches.

Things to ask

Tell your assistant your home airport, ability level, pass and who's traveling once. Assistants with memory reuse it every time.

The connector address

https://veabird.com/mcp

A remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. No account or key needed; every tool is read-only.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Custom connectors need Developer mode (under Advanced) on plans that offer it.
  2. Choose Create, name it Veabird, paste the connector address above, and pick No authentication.
  3. In a new chat, turn Veabird on from the + menu and ask away.

Building a custom GPT instead? Add an Action and import the schema from https://veabird.com/api/v1/openapi.json.

Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Veabird and paste the connector address above.
  3. Enable it for a chat from the tools menu.

Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http veabird https://veabird.com/mcp

Gemini, Copilot, Cursor and other agents

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP can use the connector address. Tools without MCP can call the same features as a plain JSON API: veabird.com/api/v1 (OpenAPI spec). Menu names in each app change often; look for "MCP servers", "connectors" or "tools".

Fine print

Forecasts are modeled estimates, not safety guidance. Lodging prices come from our partners and can change, so confirm before you book. Lodging, flight and rental links are partner links: Veabird may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and partners never affect forecasts or rankings (disclosure). Veabird doesn't see your conversations, only what your assistant sends to our tools (places, dates, party size), which we use to answer and keep only in short-lived server logs. Using the data elsewhere? Credit "Data: Veabird" with a link.
